"I have had an anaphylactic reaction to peanuts since I was in the 8th grade. It had gotten so bad, that I was deathly afraid to fly on an airplane, or be in any place that food was served. You never know what you're going to be exposed to. A friend of mine had been seeing Jody for her fibromyalgia. Jody also cleared her peanut allergy, and she was able to eat them again. This was so amazing to me, that I had to check it out. I have never cared if I could eat peanuts again, I just didn't want to die from someone around me eating them. I have a history of allergies—gluten, dairy, all nuts, etc., etc.—about a 2-page list that was identified about 20 years ago. I have tried other allergy treatments (I am also a nurse), but as you know, all the medical field has to offer is steroids, EPI shots, or avoidance. Most food reactions don't even show up on the standard scratch tests. Mine were diagnosed with ALCAT testing (blood test) about 20 yrs ago.
"I also have children with food allergies. They are grown now, but it was very scary when they were in grade school. There is so much misinformation about peanut allergies. People don't realize that the protein goes airborne when someone chews it. I have had to leave the room many times when someone starts to eat a Snicker bar, or peanut M&Ms. I didn't dare leave the house without my EPI pen.

"I started seeing Jody in March of '06, and finished treatment in November of '06. In that time, she cleared every allergy previously identified, as well as many that weren't previously known. My peanut allergy was cleared in Aug/Sept of that treatment time. I had 3 treatments with a surrogate (my husband). I was anaphylactic, so he had to hold the vial with the peanut in it, and I held on to him (like a buffer zone—filtered through him first. Weird, I know, but it worked.) Then I tested OK to hold the vial myself (believe me, my EPI pen was ready). I had three treatments holding the vial with the peanut in it, then one holding the peanut in my hand, breathing the smell, then three treatments with it in my mouth. I had Jody retest me before we went on a trip that September to see if I needed a booster. I didn't need a booster. I flew with no problems. Peanuts were served both ways, and I didn't even smell them. That was about eighteen months ago. While I still won't eat peanuts on purpose, I have gotten bites of food that I knew right away contained peanuts. My immediate reaction is to spit it out. In the past, even that much exposure would have brought on an anaphylactic reaction. I have had no reactions whatsoever since my treatment.
"I no longer have to avoid any food. Jody also cleared sun poisoning rash that I used to get every time we went on vacation. I'm no longer allergic to dogs and cats, pollens, molds — so many things that used to be a regular part of life. She went through vitamins that I used to take, and told me which were effective and which weren't. She cleared calcium absorption for me—strong family history of osteoporosis. I used to spend about $300 a month at the co-op, because I couldn't eat regular food. I don't have that bill anymore. I used to spend a lot on homeopathic remedies to keep all of my symptoms under control—they're no longer needed.
